Vibration plates
On the treatment side, we commonly utilize vibration plates that have been shown to help prevent decay and degeneration or arthritic changes. The vibration plates also help muscle balance, symmetry within the body, blood flow, lymphatic drainage, and a number of other health benefits.
Pro-adjuster
On the chiropractic treatment side with our Pro-Adjuster, we are able to measure the biofeedback from the muscle and from the joint. With this technology, we can supply our clients with “pop-free” adjustments where there is no twisting, turning, bending, popping, or cracking like with traditional chiropractic adjustment. Our Pro-Adjuster is a different type to chiropractic adjustment, because it can vibrate motion into a joint. This form of chiropractic is great for people who are afraid of manual adjustments or those who have had bad results with manual adjustments. The Pro-Adjuster is also great for individuals who have advanced degenerative changes or soft tissue damage after an injury, because in those cases manual adjustments could cause more aggravation to the body. With the Pro-Adjuster, we are able to show our clients real, measurable results. We are also aware that some people are just simply too uncomfortable with the thought of someone ever ‘popping’ anything in their body, if you happen to be one of these people, we can correct your body with the Pro-Adjuster.
On-site Digital X-ray
Utilized on the diagnostic side, many offices do not have any x-ray technology onsite and require you to go to another location to get x-rays taken.
Digital radiography uses a digital image capture device instead of X-ray film. This gives advantages of immediate image preview and availability; elimination of costly chemical film processing steps; a wider dynamic range, which makes it more forgiving for over- and under-exposure; as well as the ability to apply special image processing techniques that enhance overall display quality of the image.
SEMG (Surface Electromyogram)
On the Diagnostic side, this utilizes the same technology as an EKG (electrocardiogram), which measures electrical impulses from the brain to the heart where the SEMG measures impulses from the nerves into your muscles. This gives us insight to how well your brain and body is communicating; letting us know objective insights about muscle tension, symmetry, and other insights.
One of our goals at Kaizen is to empower our clients with knowledge so they can make the best possible health decisions moving forward, technologies like the SEMG does just that. With these technologies we can then determine how a patient’s neck pain may be causing their headaches, their poor sleep, or mood. Periodically we will reassess a patient in order to show the improvements, as well as, how and why their mood and sleep is better.
